Choices for customers in the NYSEG
service territory:
Diversified Rate Program: If
you elect this program for your electricity supply, your monthly rate
will be a
mixture of fixed and variable priced energy. This program
provides the
best of both worlds, giving you some price stability by partially
locking into
a fixed rate, but positioning you to take advantage of any
downswings in
the market. The actual fixed rate portion will be determined
monthly,
based on prevailing market conditions. The agreement is month-to-month
and only
requires a 30-day notice of termination if you are unhappy for any
reason.
Fixed Rate: If
you elect this
program for your electricity supply, your monthly rate will be locked
into a
fixed rate for the 2008 calendar
year. This option
requires a 12-month
commitment.
